Putting the wrong things down the drain can damage the sewer system, cause sewer backups in your home, and sewer releases to the environment. All Vibank residents should be responsible for what they flush or pour down the drain.
Basically, the only thing you should ever flush down a toilet is human waste and toilet paper. Here is a list of some items not to flush:
-disposable diapers
-tampons and sanitary pads, mini or maxi pads
-mop heads, swiffer pads and flushable pads
-cotton balls and swabs
-unused medication
-condoms
-cleaning wipes of any kind
-facial tissue/kleenex
bandages/bandage wrappings
plastic bags
