This message is for all residents in the Village of Vibank.

Council requires all residents to refrain from pushing, blowing or shoveling snow from private properties/driveways onto the Village Streets.

Residents or snow removal contractors are NOT permitted to pile snow on empty lots, residential lots or Village properties without Council approval.

A Reminder what NOT to flush!!

Putting the wrong things down the drain can damage the sewer system, cause sewer backups in your home, and sewer releases to the environment. All Vibank residents should be responsible for what they flush or pour down the drain.

Basically, the only thing you should ever flush down a toilet is human waste and toilet paper. Here is a list of some items not to flush:

-disposable diapers

-tampons and sanitary pads, mini or maxi pads

-mop heads, swiffer pads and flushable pads

-cotton balls and swabs

-unused medication

-cleaning wipes of any kind

-facial tissue/kleenex

bandages/bandage wrappings

plastic bags

Thankyou for your co-operation

Notice - Re: Direct Sellers

Please be advised that at this time of the year you may receive calls or visits at your home from direct sellers for everything from security systems to watger filtration systems to donations for a charity. Remember the Village has a state of the art Reverse Osmosis system. Don't let anyone try to sell you something that you do not want. If you need more information please contact the Village Office at anytime.

Beware of fraudulent salespeople.

The Village of Vibank landfill is closed for the season.

Jump-in, Vibank!
