Good day Vibank!
UPDATE: Office will remain closed to the Public until April 27. Kindly call for assistance as Office is staffed. 306-762-2130
In response to the strong restrictions being implemented by the Government of Saskatchewan and City of Regina, we wanted to provide you an update regarding Village operations in the coming weeks.
Council met ,and we will be implementing the following protocols effective Monday, March 29th for a 2 week period:
- The Village Office will be closed to walk in traffic. Our office will remain fully staffed, and our maintenance department will remain working throughout the community. Office hours will remain unchanged
- For bill payments, we recommend that you complete these through electronic means such as online banking or by calling in your credit card number to the office. We can electronically send you your confirmation and receipts
- For all other inquiries, please call the office and our team will be available to assist you over the phone and provide you the information you are looking for
- If you do feel you need to come in person for an inquiry or to make your bill payments in person, please call ahead to make an appointment. Our staff will make sure the office is freshly sanitized and ready for you when you show up
While technically our community is not included in the zone for which these new restrictions are being implemented, the reality is we are only 13KM outside of the cut-off area. With so many of our community members driving in and out of the city for work, we want to pro-actively do all we can to protect those who are vulnerable while still maintaining village operations.
Please remain vigilant and consider your movements over the next couple weeks as the province works hard to bring the current numbers down and continues to vaccinate people. If you have any questions or concerns, do not hesitate to reach out to the Mayor, any Councilor, or the office.
We will provide an update on Village operations on or before Monday, April 12th.
Thank you for your patience and understanding, and above all stay safe!
