**UPDATE – Thanks for your patience, all is up and running as it should be. There was no bacteria tests ordered by our EPO. Enjoy the rest of your evening.

Due to the power outage we have lost power at the water treatment plant. Water will be on as soon as we can get things figured out. Public Works is on it. Our EPO is aware and will issue any precautionary alerts as necessary. Please watch for updates. Thank you. Again as soon as we know more a phone message alert will be sent.

Sometimes the Province’s Environment Protection Officer (EPO ) has to issue a PRECAUTIONARY DRINKING WATER ADVISORY (PDWA) when a water line breaks or water pressure has to lowered or in the event that water has to shut off to part of or the whole Village.
These advisory’s are issued by the Province – Water Security Agency  ( not the Village ) and our Public Works Department are in constant contact with the EPO who makes this decision.  Your safety is paramount to the Public Works Department, the Council, and Administration.
The Village will notify the residents as soon as possible when the water pressure is adjusted, IF the EPO issues a PDWA, or when it is lifted by our phone message system, email, face book, and our web site.
