Who Can Vote? 

You are eligible to vote if you meet the following criteria as of April 27, 2022:

  • You are a Canadian citizen and at least 18 years of age on the day of the election
  • You have you lived in Saskatchewan for at least six (6) consecutive months
  • You are a resident of Vibank or you have owned assessable land within the town for at least three (3) consecutive months

A voter must vote in the municipality in which they reside; or must be the owner of assessable land situated in the municipality.

What Do I Need To Vote? 

When you go to vote, you must bring either:

  • a government-issued photo ID that shows your name and address; and
  • or two pieces of government-issued ID – one that shows your name and another that shows your name and address.

Acceptable forms of identification include those issued by the Government of Canada, the Government of Saskatchewan, a municipality or a government agency.

Because the Village doesn’t maintain a voters list, all eligible voters are required to fill out a registration form. To make voting quick and easy, we recommend printing and filling out your Voter Registration Form before coming down to the poll. Forms will be available to fill out at the polling station during Advanced and Regular Polls.

The Village offers two options for voting to make it easy and accessible for residents:

Regular Poll:  

9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Election Day – Wednesday, April 27, 2022.

Advanced Poll:  

Anyone can vote early at the Advanced Poll.
