MAY 6, 2021 – 10 pm ….THE PDWA for the Village of Vibank has been lifted. Formal announcement tomorrow morning at 8 AM.
The WSA has issued a precautionary boil water advisory for the Village of Vibank . Please see notice attached. Boil water advisory are normally in place for 3-5 days pending two consecutive negative bacteriological samples.
Repairs to the cracked main line on 2nd Ave, may require extra time to be completed properly please remember to run your taps for a good while once the water is turned back on fully. Sediment will be present and the Village will flush the lines with hydrant water as well. Thank you for your understanding.
Some of our residents are not getting the Voice messages call the Village and make sure your contact information is correct, the Village can contact you by cell , land line or email. Thank you

The Village has a large water break in front of the Heritage Building on 2nd Ave. Schaefer’s trenching will begin repairs Monday, May 3rd.
This will require that the Village shut off water for the ENTIRE VILLAGE on Monday, May 3. Plan for the water to be off the day from 8am to 5pm.
Do not leave your taps open, as after the water is turned back on the lines will need to be flushed, to get the sediment out.
All WATER SAFETY protocols will be followed and the Water Security Agency informed.
Think about grabbing bottled water from the Domo or the Store for the day, do not plan on doing laundry or running the dishwasher.
The PROVINCE’S Environmental protection officer, will issue any advisory they deem necessary for the Village.
The Village will inform residents via our phone messaging system, face book, and our web page of any all updates.
